O&M Field Engineer (Kolda)

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its operations in Senegal and seeks a skilled O&M Field Engineer to provide fast, on‑site and remote support at its Kolda site. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, you will ensure reliable operation of photovoltaic power plants and high‑voltage substations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid on‑site and remote troubleshooting and implement fault recovery solutions.
• Carry out specialized technical maintenance and commissioning activities for photovoltaic plants.
• Conduct technical assessments, produce reports and documentation, and support claim processes.
• Deliver training workshops to build maintenance competence.
• Develop and improve maintenance management processes, standards and tools.
• Participate in reliability studies, failure analysis, and audit of procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Degree or Master in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Electrical) with experience in HV substation maintenance.
• Proven experience in commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic power plants.
• Ability to work on‑site and obtain a medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Senegal driver’s license and advanced English proficiency.
