Reconfirmation Agent (Bilingual French & English) – Dakar

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Reconfirmation Agent to ensure that all land‑based travel services – such as hotels, transfers and activities – are confirmed prior to client departures. The role is based in Dakar and involves close coordination with local suppliers following client‑specific procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and reconfirm bookings for hotels, ground transfers and activity providers for each client itinerary.
• Communicate with local suppliers to confirm availability and address any changes.
• Follow client‑specific reconfirmation procedures and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of confirmations in the operational system.
• Escalate issues or discrepancies to the travel operations team promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel or tourism industry.
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail and good judgment when handling client bookings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and operational software used for travel bookings.
