Risk Specialist, Regional Services Division

About the role

The Risk Specialist in the Regional Services Division will support UNICEF’s mission in Senegal by coordinating assurance activities and delivering integrated performance and risk analyses. Working closely with programmatic and operational teams, the role strengthens accountability and informs senior management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external assurance activities, including audits, reviews and assessments.
• Conduct performance and risk analyses to produce actionable insights for management.
• Prepare and present dashboards, scorecards and management reports on risk and performance indicators.
• Provide reporting support to senior leadership and ensure timely dissemination of findings.
• Strengthen capacity of staff through training and guidance on risk management and assurance processes.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Audit, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in risk management, internal control, audit or performance management, preferably in international development or humanitarian settings.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating assessments and developing management reporting tools.
• Fluency in English and French; additional UN language is a plus.
