Supply Chain Delegate

About the role

The IFRC is seeking a Supply Chain Delegate to support its Country Cluster Delegation in Dakar. The role will ensure efficient, accountable, and cost‑effective logistics solutions for the National Societies of Senegal, Mauritania, Cape Verde and The Gambia, contributing to emergency response and long‑term humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor supply‑chain processes that meet IFRC standards of efficiency and accountability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory management, and distribution of relief items across the four member countries.
• Support emergency response logistics and long‑term programming, especially for migration and displacement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRC policies, including zero‑tolerance and child‑safeguarding principles.
• Liaise with partners, donors, and National Society representatives to align logistics activities with humanitarian priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain or logistics management within a humanitarian or international development context.
• Familiarity with IFRC operational guidelines and multi‑country coordination.
• Strong analytical, planning and coordination abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
