Technical Advisor, Commodity Access, Global Malaria and NTDs

About the role

CHAI is looking for a highly motivated manager with strong public‑health experience and analytical skills to lead commodity‑access work across Africa. The role will support, manage and expand efforts to improve case management and supply‑chain management for malaria and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Africa‑based commodity‑access team, setting priorities and overseeing implementation.
• Collaborate closely with CHAI’s malaria and NTD technical experts.
• Provide technical assistance to regional and country teams to strengthen malaria and NTD care delivered through community health‑worker networks and public‑private health systems.
• Improve case‑management practices and supply‑chain processes for malaria and NTD commodities.
• Build CHAI’s expertise in malaria and NTD case management and supply‑chain strategies.

Required profile

• Strong background in public health, preferably with experience in malaria and NTD programs.
• Demonstrated analytical and managerial skills.
• Ability to work effectively with regional and country teams across Africa.
• Motivation to lead and develop technical capacity within a global health organization.
