Technical Project Manager – Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will be based on‑site in the Dakar Region, overseeing telecom infrastructure projects from initiation through delivery. You will ensure projects meet client requirements, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor multi‑site telecom deployment projects, managing schedules and tracking milestones.
• Prepare technical and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Coordinate engineering, field and maintenance teams to ensure smooth execution of site implementation.
• Interface with clients and partners to clarify specifications, manage expectations and resolve risks or issues.
• Optimize processes, monitor performance, enforce safety and quality regulations, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong project and program management experience in complex telecom initiatives.
• Solid analytical abilities to interpret technical data and assess risks.
• Effective communication skills for client and cross‑functional interaction.
• Proven team‑leadership capability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications or related field; professional proficiency in French (English a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Experience using Primavera or similar project‑management frameworks.
