Bambara Language Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Bambara speaker to join our remote team as a language expert. You will help improve AI language models by providing high‑quality translation, editing, and linguistic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Translate content to and from Bambara with cultural accuracy.
• Edit and proofread Bambara language data to maintain consistency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to annotate, evaluate, and enhance language datasets.
• Develop and review glossaries, linguistic resources, and written materials.
• Provide detailed feedback on idioms, nuances, and cultural context.
• Ensure timely delivery while meeting quality standards.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Bambara, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in translation, editing, or linguistic work.
• Ability to convey complex concepts accurately and fluently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic precision.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
