Chief Representative – Senegal Office

About the role

The Chief Representative will lead Dubai Chambers’ presence in Senegal, acting as the primary diplomatic and strategic anchor in Dakar. This senior role drives the execution of Dubai’s international economic agenda, builds high‑level relationships, and provides market intelligence to support bilateral trade and investment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Dubai Chambers’ international strategy in Senegal, ensuring alignment with Dubai’s economic priorities.
• Represent Dubai Chambers publicly, enhancing its visibility and influence in the local market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government bodies, business associations, and strategic partners.
• Provide market analysis, identify opportunities and risks, and deliver strategic insights to UAE stakeholders.
• Support Dubai‑based companies entering Senegal and assist Senegalese firms looking to expand to Dubai.
• Promote Dubai as a global business hub and attract high‑potential companies to establish or expand operations.
• Oversee daily office operations, resource allocation, financial planning, and compliance.
• Organise and lead promotional events, trade missions, and networking platforms.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in international business development or diplomatic representation.
• Strong track record of building government and high‑level business relationships.
• Deep understanding of economic diplomacy, trade promotion, and market entry strategies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; French is an advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
