Commercial Agent

About the role

TRANSPAPS SA is expanding its presence across Senegal and is looking for proactive Commercial Agents to drive sales and market penetration. You will be responsible for building relationships with a variety of customers, from individual buyers to wholesale partners, and ensuring the successful promotion of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities among individuals, wholesalers, semi‑wholesalers and retail shops.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of potential clients, tracking sales performance and follow‑up activities.
• Plan, coordinate and execute commercial actions and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and support debt recovery efforts.
• Contribute to the company’s development strategy and monitor market trends.
• Conduct satisfaction surveys and monitor product presence and turnover against competitors.
• Provide regular reporting on daily, weekly and monthly commercial activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in Marketing, Commerce or a related field, or equivalent higher education qualification.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar sales or commercial role.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor in execution and a results‑driven mindset.
• Good knowledge of the local market and distribution channels.
• Persuasive, dynamic, innovative, mobile and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and immediate availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic IT tools such as Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
