Corporate Payment Liquidity Officer

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a Corporate Payment Liquidity Officer to ensure smooth payment flows between corporate partners and the treasury team. Based in Dakar, you will act as the bridge between corporate clients and treasury, tracking transfers, reconciling reports, and supporting liquidity needs.

Key responsibilities

• Centralise partners' transfer frequencies and bank account details in a structured spreadsheet.
• Track and monitor all settlements with corporate partners, ensuring timely completion by the treasury team.
• Support partners with scheduled and ad‑hoc liquidity requests and maintain clear communication via email and phone.
• Work closely with the treasury team to check transfer status, flag business‑trend changes, and update frequency information.
• Provide partners with updates on rule or process changes that affect them.
• Record daily proof of transfers on a shared drive and report any risk‑related issues.
• Coordinate settlement status with treasury, report discrepancies, and analyse root causes.
• Collect, archive, and manage bank information documents from partners.
• Identify priority areas and propose innovative solutions to improve Wave’s nationwide payment liquidity.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with corporate partners and internal teams.
• Proactive mindset to identify issues and suggest improvements.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment.
