Country Coordinator – MRV Projects

About the role

The MRV Country Coordinator – Senegal will lead Monitoring, Reporting and Verification activities across the country, acting as a quasi‑Project Manager for all MRV‑related projects. The role involves coordinating field data collection, ensuring data quality, and delivering high‑quality studies on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Regional MRV Manager by supervising field data collection teams and guiding execution of feasibility, baseline, carbon usage, and kitchen performance test studies.
• Coordinate multiple high‑frequency MRV projects, maintain a strategic project calendar, and optimize resource allocation.
• Implement SOPs, checklists, and contemporary data collection tools to ensure data quality and error correction.
• Escalate issues to the Regional MRV Manager, provide localized solutions, and contribute to training material customization.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience leading and managing field teams in data collection or similar environments.
• Proficiency in English and French, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to conduct audit‑like work in data‑heavy settings and drive operational excellence.

Required skills

• Data collection using Kobo or similar mobile platforms.
• Data analysis and handling with Microsoft Excel.
