MRV Country Coordinator – Senegal

About the role

The MRV Country Coordinator will lead Monitoring, Reporting and Verification activities across Senegal, acting as a quasi‑project manager for all MRV‑related projects. The role involves coordinating field data collection, ensuring data quality, and guiding multiple project teams to deliver high‑quality studies on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise field data collection teams, implement SOPs, and use tools such as Kobo to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate several concurrent MRV projects, maintain a strategic calendar, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor project delivery against timelines and budgets.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance management of enumerators and field leaders, fostering teamwork and adherence to quality standards.
• Escalate issues to the Regional MRV Manager, propose localized solutions, and contribute to best‑practice documentation for recruitment and mobilization.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience leading field teams in data collection or similar environments.
• Fluent in English and French, with knowledge of other major languages spoken in Senegal.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of audit‑style work in data‑heavy settings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
