About the role
This internship supports the Ending Violence against Women and Girls (EVAW) team at UN Women Senegal. Based in Dakar, the intern will work closely with the EVAW coordinator to strengthen psychosocial support services for survivors of gender‑based violence.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and map psychologists, psycho‑social workers, institutions and organisations providing psychosocial support for survivors in Senegal.
- Develop and maintain a database of experts and potential partners.
- Identify existing tools, protocols and practices used in psychosocial support services.
- Draft technical sheets, guidance notes and reference materials related to psychosocial support.
- Participate in EVAW activities, meetings, workshops and related events.
- Provide operational and coordination support for EVAW initiatives.
