Financial Services Operations Partner

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a single point of ownership to keep its Financial Services products running smoothly. As the Financial Services Operations Partner you will connect internal teams and external partners, ensuring that merchant cash advances, insurance, lending and savings products operate flawlessly for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operational tasks across markets and teams to guarantee product effectiveness.
• Act as the connective tissue between Customer Services, Finance, Biz Dev, Product, Risk and external partners, owning issues end‑to‑end.
• Develop specialist knowledge of non‑standard products such as merchant cash advances, insurance and consumer lending.
• Identify recurring patterns, move from case‑by‑case firefighting to structural fixes.
• Use data to surface early risks, flagging customers for collections or merchants for engagement before problems grow.
• Manage partner relationships and ensure commitments are met and revenue is captured.
