Freelance Interpreter (English, French & Wolof)

About the role

We are looking for fluent multilingual speakers to provide over‑the‑phone and video remote interpretation in English, French and Wolof. No prior experience is required as we offer full training, and you will work from a quiet home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, real‑time consecutive interpretation (English‑Wolof and French‑Wolof).
• Facilitate clear communication in high‑stakes settings such as healthcare and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, neutrality and professionalism.
• Manage your own schedule and reliably log in to handle calls.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native fluency in English, French and Wolof.
• Strong active listening, cultural sensitivity and emotional resilience.
• Beginners welcome; prior interpreting experience is a plus.
• Quiet, distraction‑free home workspace.
