General Manager – Grain Milling

About the role

The company seeks a diligent, hands‑on General Manager to lead its grain‑milling operation in Senegal. Reporting to the VP of Africa, you will be responsible for overall business performance, strategy, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Take full control of the operation, governing business activities and P&L.
• Ensure timely, efficient execution from production to delivery while maintaining product quality and customer service standards.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, and compliance, applying disciplined governing principles.
• Communicate clearly with the wider group and embed social‑responsibility and continuous‑improvement ethos.
• Travel regularly to operational sites while being based in Dakar.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and P&L responsibility in an industrial environment.
• Strong background in manufacturing or milling, preferably grains.
• Experience managing teams through geopolitical and regulatory challenges in emerging markets.
• Track record of team development, process improvement, and commercial delivery.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
