Dakar Academy is looking for a passionate High School History Teacher to instruct grades 9‑12 using a North American curriculum and a Christ‑centered approach. The role involves designing engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and supporting students’ academic and spiritual growth as they prepare for higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Teach high school history courses for grades 9‑12.
• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons.
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback.
• Integrate a Christian worldview into instruction.
• Collaborate with staff to support overall student success.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching history.
• Experience or willingness to teach grades 9‑12.
• Ability to incorporate a Christian perspective into lessons.
• Team‑oriented and supportive of student development.
