Investigation Officer

About the role

The Investigation Officer is responsible for tracking and following up on suspected fraud cases, mitigating credit and operational risks, and ensuring compliance with company investigation procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Track and follow up on suspected fraud cases, mitigating fraud and credit risks while adhering to standard operational processes.
• Identify and assess operational and credit risks, analyze suspicious behaviors, and summarize fraud tactics.
• Analyze and cross‑match customer and order data to uncover new fraud scenarios and hidden risk patterns.
• Conduct offline verification and customer confirmation to support accurate risk judgments.
• Verify information submitted by customers and sales agents, and assess repayment willingness.
• Resolve pending fraud cases with logical investigation skills and complete standardized case reports.
• Review loan application processes and agent operations during case follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum licence (BAC+3) or maîtrise (BAC+4) certification.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving, case analysis and risk judgment capabilities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive customer and fraud data.
• Capable of handling batch suspected fraud cases under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
• Self‑motivated with a positive work attitude and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for case sorting, data statistics and report filing.
