Investment Analyst – Manufacturing & Services

About the role

The Investment Analyst will join the Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services (MAS) sector team at the International Finance Corporation in Dakar, Senegal. Working closely with Investment Officers, the analyst supports the origination, structuring and monitoring of private‑sector investments in consumer services and manufacturing across low‑income and fragile markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities in the MAS sector.
• Assist Investment Officers in financial modelling, valuation and transaction structuring.
• Prepare investment memoranda, due‑diligence reports and presentation materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and support post‑investment supervision.
• Collaborate with government agencies and World Bank colleagues to develop market‑creation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, economics, business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in investment analysis, project finance or consulting, preferably in emerging markets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a plus.
