Machine Operator - Rewind

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator – Rewind to join our production team at Brook + Whittle. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will safely operate press machines that convert post‑press material into finished labels, ensuring high‑quality output for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor press machines according to job ticket instructions.
• Set up machines to meet specific customer requirements.
• Perform quality checks and document compliance with company and customer standards.
• Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Inspect equipment for defects and carry out routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, attend department meetings and continuous‑improvement events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of printing or press‑machine experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with metric and standard measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and detail‑oriented work style.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work safely in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
