Manufacturing Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to drive production excellence in a high‑performance, world‑class environment. The role combines hands‑on equipment supervision with team leadership to meet quality, efficiency and output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of machining, processing, assembly and packaging equipment.
• Ensure production meets specifications, schedules, volume, cost and loss targets while monitoring quality and reworking defective items.
• Provide accurate daily production reports for performance tracking and analysis.
• Lead, coach and support a diverse production team, set daily/weekly performance targets and foster an inclusive, high‑performing environment.
• Drive compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and apply continuous‑improvement methodologies such as Lean, TPM and Open+.
• Supervise equipment installation, calibration and maintenance, diagnose issues and recommend system improvements.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).
• Proven track record in a world‑class manufacturing setting using Lean, TPM or Open+ principles.
• Experience maintaining or operating production equipment for at least 2 years.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of production systems and performance tracking.
• Hands‑on machine operation, setup, cleaning and basic mechanical principles.
• Equipment calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Quality management and defect control processes.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and compliance.
• Continuous‑improvement tools such as Lean, TPM and Open+.
