National Partnership and Resource Mobilization Officer

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a National Partnership and Resource Mobilization Officer to strengthen donor relations and resource mobilization across the region. Reporting to the Regional Resource Mobilization Officer, the incumbent will support partnership development, donor engagement, and the preparation of high‑quality funding proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate relationships with bilateral donors, foundations, private‑sector partners, and international financial institutions.
• Prepare briefing notes, presentations, donor profiles and background materials for engagements.
• Respond to donor and partner inquiries in collaboration with regional and country office colleagues.
• Manage a regional donor and partnership calendar, tracking deadlines, visibility requirements and meeting schedules.
• Contribute to donor proposals, concept notes and presentations by gathering inputs from program teams.
• Support knowledge management and internal coordination to facilitate resource mobilization across country offices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership development and resource mobilization within an international or UN‑related context.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify funding opportunities and track donor priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and country teams.
