Operations Associate Director – West & North Africa

About the role

IDinsight is seeking a senior operations leader for its West and North Africa region to create safe, compliant, cost‑effective, and locally grounded client delivery across Senegal and Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for WNA Operations and ensure the operating model scales as new offices or workstreams launch.
• Lead operational scoping of potential new geographies, assessing entity options, legal and tax landscape, cost, risk and operating models.
• Partner with the Regional Director and People Operations to drive talent growth, staffing strategy, career pathways and team specialization.
• Own safety, security and duty‑of‑care systems, including travel risk management, incident‑response readiness and coordination with Global Safety.
• Oversee operational coordination across legal entities, ensure statutory compliance, audit readiness and procurement governance in line with IDinsight policies.

Required profile

• Self‑starter able to run autonomous workstreams and lead execution with minimal supervision.
• Strong people‑management experience, including coaching, performance reviews and building cohesive operational teams.
• Proven experience in regional operations, compliance, risk management and governance.
• Capability to deputize for the Regional Director on operational, financial and organisational matters.
