Orthodontic Clinician

About the role

Otto Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join a growing team dedicated to delivering a positive clinical experience for patients. Working under the supervision of an Orthodontist, you will assist with appliance placement, record taking, and patient education while ensuring compliance with company policies and state dental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under Orthodontist supervision.
• Perform accurate procedures to maintain patient flow and schedule efficiency.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Conduct laboratory procedures and final patient checks.
• Manage the remote monitoring dashboard, triage scans, and respond to patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Maintain clean and sterilized equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Support local store marketing and community events.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic experience (or 6 months as a Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician).
• Dental Assistant, Radiography, and CPR certifications if required by state board.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with staff.
