Part-time Middle School Teacher (Grades 6‑8)

About the role

Dakar Academy is looking for a part‑time Middle School Teacher to join its South Campus starting January 2026. The role involves teaching grades 6‑8 across several subject areas using a North American curriculum and a Christ‑centered approach.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in subjects such as Math, English, Social Studies, Bible, Science, or Fine Arts.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to support academic growth.
• Maintain a welcoming, rigorous, and Christ‑centered classroom environment.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to uphold the academy’s educational standards.

Required profile

• Commitment to the spiritual and academic development of middle‑school students.
• Ability to teach multiple subjects as needed.
• Familiarity with a North American curriculum.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the South Campus on a part‑time basis.
