Partnerships Specialist – Muskoka Funds (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist will support the Muskoka Multi‑Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) in Dakar, helping to sustain and expand a successful regional initiative that improves maternal, newborn and child health across West and Central Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Deepen collaboration with existing and potential donors, UN agencies and other partners.
• Conduct environmental scanning and knowledge exchange to identify funding opportunities.
• Lead resource‑mobilisation activities, including proposal development and donor reporting.
• Support the coordination of the high‑level Steering Committee and the Technical Committee.
• Provide policy analysis and advocacy inputs to influence partner engagement.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in resource mobilisation, partnership development or donor relations, preferably in an international development context.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work across multiple UN agencies.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
