Partnerships Specialist – Muskoka Funds (Fixed‑Term, P‑3)

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist will support the Muskoka Multi‑Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) in Dakar, helping to deepen collaboration with donors, UN agencies and other partners. Working under the Regional Public Partnerships Adviser, the incumbent will play a key role in resource mobilisation, knowledge exchange and policy influence for maternal, newborn and child health programmes across West and Central Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the Muskoka MPTF Technical Committee and high‑level Steering Committee.
• Identify and engage new donors and partners to diversify funding sources.
• Conduct environmental scanning and market analysis to inform partnership strategies.
• Prepare briefing notes, proposals and reports for senior management and partners.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best‑practice exchange among participating UN agencies.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international development, public policy, economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in resource mobilisation, partnership development or donor relations, preferably in a multilateral or humanitarian context.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience preparing strategic documents.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English; French is an asset.
