People and Culture Specialist

About the role

The People and Culture Specialist is responsible for implementing HR services that enhance the capacity of UNICEF’s clients to achieve their business goals. The role requires strategic partnership, HR analytics, and capacity development within a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide business partnering and strategic HR support to align HR management with organisational objectives.
• Implement assigned HR services, including learning and capacity development initiatives.
• Conduct HR data analytics to inform decision‑making and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive HR experience in an international organization or large corporation.
• Fluency in English and French; additional UN language knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth technical knowledge of human resources management principles and concepts.
• Strong ability to analyse systemic HR issues and propose actionable recommendations.
• Excellent proficiency with HR information technology systems and data analytics tools.
