HR Support Partner

About the role

As a People Partner – Support, you will work closely with Wave’s call centre team in Senegal to deliver HR strategies that align with the department’s objectives and foster a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate HR strategy with Support department OKRs, including talent reallocation and change management.
• Identify and implement organisational effectiveness improvements, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Support performance management processes: feedback, 1:1s, coaching, OKR setting, evaluations, and PIP follow‑up.
• Audit sick‑time records, manage benefit and health review updates, and ensure HR system data accuracy.
• Handle work accommodation requests, liaise with medical professionals, and prepare employee explanation letters.
• Track HR policy compliance, attendance, and process timelines; address absenteeism with solutions.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, resignations, terminations, exit interviews, and contract completion.
• Audit overtime submissions for policy and local labour law compliance.
• Promote employee engagement through recognition programs, team‑building activities, and career development conversations.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Labour Law, or related field.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, recruitment, and employee experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex issues, prioritize projects, and collaborate across teams.
