Programme Officer – Humanitarian Mine Action

About the role

The Programme Officer will support the Country Director in managing MAG’s humanitarian mine‑action programme in Senegal. The role covers grant and project management, donor reporting, proposal development, monitoring, and communications to ensure accurate and timely delivery of activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day grant and contract performance, maintain grant management tools and flag risks.
• Prepare and submit donor reports, support proposal development and coordinate information for funding submissions.
• Develop and maintain systems for recording programme data, track indicators and analyse results for reporting.
• Produce communication materials such as case studies, briefs and presentations using Canva, ensuring consistency with MAG’s brand.
• Coordinate with finance, operations and field teams to gather required information and support partner compliance.

Required profile

• Significant experience in development or humanitarian programme operations in developing countries.
• Fluent in English and French with strong written communication abilities.
