Project Leader – West Africa (Dakar)

About the role

Open Capital Advisors is seeking a Project Leader to join its Dakar office and drive advisory engagements across Francophone West Africa. You will act as a trusted advisor to investors, businesses, and development partners, delivering strategy, transaction support, and market‑building services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent client projects, solving complex problems and designing impactful solutions.
• Implement outcomes that generate measurable impact and ensure follow‑through across engagements.
• Oversee project management, work planning, and accountability for key milestones.
• Manage and coach junior team members, fostering leadership capabilities.
• Support business development and network building through innovative solution development.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of proven experience at a top global management consulting firm, investment firm, or as an entrepreneur/leader in a high‑growth business.
• Professional fluency in both English and French.
• Work authorization in Senegal.
• Ability to work effectively with senior clients and manage multi‑stakeholder situations.
• MBA or advanced degree (nice to have).
• Prior experience in Africa, especially Francophone West Africa (nice to have).
• Interest in sectors such as agriculture, energy, financial services, or healthcare (nice to have).
