Remote Bilingual Paralegal – French & English

About the role

Fibi Law Firm is seeking a full‑time Remote Paralegal who is fluent in both French and English. The successful candidate will support immigration attorneys by preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble immigration forms, affidavits, and supporting evidence.
• Conduct legal and factual research related to immigration cases.
• Review client files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with deadlines.
• Communicate with clients in French and English to gather information and provide case updates under attorney supervision.
• Coordinate with internal team members and assist with document translations when needed.
• Maintain case records, track deadlines, and ensure adherence to firm procedures.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in law and immigration procedures.
• Experience supporting legal practitioners or handling legal matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements in Port‑au‑Prince and reliable remote‑work technology.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software.
• Experience with case management tools (specific platforms not required).
