Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management system applications. This remote, contract‑based position involves turning design mockups into responsive, secure web experiences while collaborating with designers and content teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications (WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, Magento).
• Develop custom themes, modules, and plugins from scratch.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and optimise performance.
• Configure custom post types, custom fields, and editorial workflows for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, data protection, authentication, backups, and software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and deadlines.
• Document clean code and technical specifications for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
