Senior Research Officer – Global MSNA (Dakar)

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Research Officer to join its Global Multi‑Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) team within the Research Systems Unit. Based in the Regional Office in Dakar, the role will support the scaling‑up of MSNA delivery, training, learning and country‑level support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with country teams and partner organisations involved in delivering MSNAs.
• Support the development and implementation of training and learning activities for MSNA staff.
• Contribute to the design, collection, management and analysis of multi‑sectoral data.
• Assist in streamlining MSNA processes to make them faster, easier and more cost‑effective.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in research, data collection or humanitarian assessments.
• Strong understanding of multi‑sector needs assessment methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international, multi‑disciplinary team.
