Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications such as WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS. This fully remote contract position works full‑time and requires close collaboration with UI/UX designers, content creators, and back‑end teams to deliver secure, high‑performance web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and perform performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, handle data protection, user authentication, backups, and regular software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with designers, developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Produce clean code and comprehensive technical documentation for future maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development focused on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
