Research Associate, Analytics and Implementation Research

About the role

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a Research Associate to join its Analytics and Implementation Research (AIR) team. The role supports CHAI’s global health programs by conducting epidemiological analyses, modeling program impact, and evaluating cost‑effectiveness in low‑ and middle‑income settings.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program, country, and government teams to design and execute epidemiological studies.
• Develop and apply quantitative models to estimate health outcomes and program impact.
• Perform cost‑effectiveness and budget impact analyses for health interventions.
• Prepare technical reports, policy briefs, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
• Contribute to peer‑reviewed publications and internal knowledge‑sharing platforms.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in public health, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research in resource‑limited settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
