Resources Management Officer (P‑3) – Fixed‑Term

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Resources Management Officer (RMO) to support its Senegal Country Office and sub‑offices. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with the Deputy Regional Director for Management, the DFM at Headquarters and the Global Shared Services Centre, the RMO will oversee budgetary, financial, human‑resources and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee financial management for all activities in the Senegal Country Office, ensuring proper expenditure and accountability.
• Conduct financial analysis of Country Office activities in coordination with the Chief of Mission and the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer.
• Supervise treasury operations, including cash‑flow forecasting for the Country Office and its sub‑offices.
• Provide technical guidance, coordination and support to Country Offices in The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Cabo Verde and Guinea‑Bissau.
• Collaborate with the Department of Financial and Administrative Management and the Global Shared Services Centre on budget and administrative matters.

Required profile

• Internal or external candidates currently part of the IOM Pathways Pool.
• Experience in managing financial, human‑resources and administrative functions within an international or UN‑type organization.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Chief of Mission and coordinate with regional and headquarters units.
