Senior Advisor Global Partnerships

About the role

World Vision International is seeking a dynamic Senior Advisor, Global Partnerships to lead engagement with private sector actors, faith‑based investors and innovative finance stakeholders. The role is home‑based and supports the global Advocacy and External Engagement team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advocacy engagement with faith‑based investors, business actors and ESG/sustainability networks, coordinating with Vision Fund International.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships, develop positioning strategies, and conduct environment scans and stakeholder power mapping.
• Serve as relationship manager for 1–2 global coalitions, negotiate strategic plans and broker opportunities to amplify children’s voices.
• Provide thought leadership across the A&EE ministry, capture learning from partnerships and contribute to organisational capacity building.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Finance, International Development, Public Policy, Economics or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in partnership management, private sector engagement or business development, with expertise in private finance, faith‑based investment, ESG or impact finance.
• Proven track record of building high‑level external relationships and influencing senior executives.
• Outstanding interpersonal, relationship‑building and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, OneDrive).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.
