SHEQ Supervisor

About the role

The SHEQ Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site position based in the Dakar Region, overseeing Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) across telecom site implementation and maintenance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SHEQ activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements and Senegalese regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and audits, and drive continuous improvement of SHEQ procedures.
• Coordinate training, toolbox talks and awareness sessions for field teams.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, and manage corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to embed SHEQ best practices into daily operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising SHEQ in telecom, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards and quality management principles (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Relevant technical or SHEQ‑related degree (Engineering, HSE, Quality Management) or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are a plus.
