About the role

The Finance Intern will support the Compliance Treasury Analyst in ensuring bank accounting compliance and the accuracy of financial statements related to bank accounts. This role is based in Dakar and offers exposure to bank account management activities and broader financial analysis tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Financial Team with financial analysis of profit & loss, balance sheet, and non‑financial metric accounts.
• Support day‑to‑day accounting requirements and bank account management compliance.
• Coordinate, review, and distribute standard reports such as monthly financial analysis.
• Contribute to the annual budget process, quarterly forecasting, and monthly updates.
• Research best practices, provide recommendations, and help implement improvements.
• Collaborate with country finance and business partners to enhance processes and efficiencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Recent graduate, no more than 2 years post‑graduation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Quick learner able to translate knowledge into practical solutions.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, read).
