Import Export Finance and Investment Expert Advisor - Country Manager

About the role

This freelance, part‑time, virtual remote position is for an International Trade Finance Consultant / Country Manager. The role focuses on marketing the company’s products and services, overseeing operations in a designated country, and driving business growth through strategic planning and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Market SVG’s financial engineering solutions and develop country‑specific business strategies.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage budgets and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, import‑export partners and government agencies.
• Lead a local team of professionals to achieve revenue and operational targets.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as CEO, Founder, Director, Operations Head or equivalent in trade‑related businesses.
• Proven background in commodity trading, import‑export, logistics, mining, manufacturing or real‑estate development.
• At least 3 years of experience in trade finance, banking consultancy or a trading business.
• Familiarity with local regulations and strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.

Required skills

• Letters of Credit (LC/DLC) and Bank Guarantees (BG).
• Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), Proof of Funds (POF) and Bank Comfort Letters (BCL).
• SWIFT messaging formats MT760, MT799, MT700.
• Digital sales and marketing platforms for lead generation.
