Partnerships Specialist – Muskoka Funds

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist will support the Muskoka Multi‑Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) in Dakar, helping to sustain and expand a successful regional health initiative. Reporting to the Regional Public Partnerships Adviser, the incumbent will act as a key liaison with donors, inter‑agency partners and government stakeholders, ensuring the MPTF attracts new resources and maintains strong collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential donors and partners to diversify funding for the Muskoka Funds.
• Coordinate the technical committee and high‑level steering committee meetings, preparing agendas and briefing notes.
• Conduct environmental scanning and knowledge exchange to inform partnership strategies.
• Support resource‑mobilisation activities, including proposal development and reporting.
• Provide thematic expertise and act as a focal point for colleagues on partnership‑related issues.

Required profile

• University degree in international development, public policy, business administration or a related field.
• Experience in partnership development, donor relations or resource mobilisation within an international organization or NGO.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple countries and cultures.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
