IT Network and System Manager

About the role

The IT Network and System Manager ensures the availability, security, reliability and performance of DP World Dakar's IT infrastructure, systems and network services. This leader drives operational excellence across datacenter, cloud, enterprise applications, end‑user computing and cybersecurity to support terminal operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high availability, resilience and optimal performance of business‑critical infrastructure, systems and network services.
• Manage and secure Microsoft, Linux and cloud‑based platforms, as well as enterprise infrastructure technologies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Network & Systems team, fostering a collaborative, customer‑focused environment.
• Deliver IT infrastructure services that meet agreed service levels and operational expectations.
• Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand needs and provide cost‑effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DP World IT governance, cybersecurity standards and architecture guidelines.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities.
• Manage vendors, service providers and contractors, overseeing contractual obligations and service quality.
• Plan, monitor and control departmental and project budgets, identifying cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement through infrastructure modernization and technology innovation.

Required profile

• Proven experience planning, implementing, securing and maintaining complex IT infrastructures.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing technical teams.
• Ability to build effective relationships with business units and external partners.
• Experience in budget management and vendor governance.
• Commitment to health, safety, security and environmental standards.
