Risk Specialist (P-3) – 6‑month Temporary Assignment

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Risk Specialist (P‑3) on a six‑month temporary appointment to support the coordination of assurance activities and conduct integrated performance and risk analyses. The role will work closely with programmatic and operational teams, assurance focal points, and senior leadership to strengthen accountability and improve organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate assurance activities across the country office.
• Conduct performance and risk analyses to inform management decisions.
• Prepare and present reports and management support documents.
• Strengthen capacity of staff in risk and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Audit, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, internal control, assurance, audit or performance management.
• Experience coordinating assessments, reviews, audits or assurance activities.
• Proven ability to develop dashboards, scorecards and management reports.
• Fluency in English and French.
