About the role

IQRA Bilingual Academy in Dakar is looking for enthusiastic English‑speaking elementary teachers and French high‑school teachers to join its international faculty for the upcoming academic year. The successful candidates will deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in a bilingual, faith‑based environment and help nurture confident, compassionate learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student‑centered lessons for Grades K‑5 (English) or secondary grades (French).
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and school leadership to support holistic development.
• Participate in professional development and school community activities.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in English (for elementary) or French (for high school).
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or license.
• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience.
• Experience in international or bilingual settings is an asset.
