Head of People & Culture Business Partner – Senegal & Pan‑African Programs

About the role

The Head, People & Culture Business Partner will lead HR strategy and delivery for the Senegal Country Program and Pan‑African (PANA) portfolio, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the People & Culture Business Partner to Senegal Country Program and Pan‑African (PANA) leadership, shaping HR strategy and delivery.
• Design, implement and monitor people roadmaps, talent acquisition, succession planning and workforce design across both portfolios.
• Lead organization‑design initiatives, change management and alignment of operating models to strategic priorities.
• Develop and drive culture, engagement and employee‑experience programs, using survey insights to act on improvement areas.
• Oversee performance management, learning, reward processes and HR analytics, ensuring compliance with policies and local legislation.
• Manage employee‑relations matters, risk identification and mitigation in collaboration with legal and HR specialists.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR Business Partner roles.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑country or regional programmes in Africa.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence strategic decisions.
