HR Business Partner – Strategic HR Leader

About the role

The HR Business Partner at Olam Agri will act as a strategic bridge between human‑resource functions and business operations, aligning people initiatives with the company’s growth objectives. You will partner with senior leaders to shape a resilient, high‑performing workforce that supports the expanding animal‑feed and poultry sectors in West Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to assess and anticipate workforce requirements, ensuring HR strategies effectively support business plans.
• Lead talent management efforts, including performance management, succession planning and professional development initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, managing concerns promptly and ensuring compliance with company policies and labour legislation.
• Contribute to workforce planning and organisational design to optimise structure and efficiency.
• Utilise HR analytics to monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insights for employee engagement and productivity.
• Coordinate with specialised HR teams such as compensation, learning & development and recruitment to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of proven HR generalist experience with strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and collaborate across the organisation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification in HR or Organizational Development preferred.
