Logistics Operations Specialist

About the role

Quintal International is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to join its on‑site team in Dakar. You will be responsible for overseeing transportation and supply‑chain activities that support the company’s construction projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transportation and supply‑chain operations for construction sites.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to guarantee on‑time deliveries.
• Analyze data to forecast logistics needs and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain smooth workflow across the supply chain and provide high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to evaluate data and support decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in transportation management with a focus on route optimization.
• Proficiency in supply‑chain management and inventory control.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Familiarity with Lean construction and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply‑Chain Management or a related field.
• Prior experience in construction or logistics is a plus.
