Operations & Maintenance Technician – Kolda

About the role

Renvolt is expanding its footprint in Senegal and seeks a skilled Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to provide fast, reliable on‑site support at its Kolda solar facility. Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, you will ensure rapid fault recovery, carry out specialized maintenance, and support commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site and remote troubleshooting to restore production quickly.
• Execute specialized technical maintenance on photovoltaic equipment.
• Participate in integrated commissioning and start‑up procedures.
• Conduct technical assessments and produce detailed reports for claim processes.
• Deliver training workshops to build local maintenance competence.
• Develop and improve maintenance management processes, documentation, and best‑practice standards.
• Contribute to reliability studies, failure analysis, and process audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants.
• Strong background in electronics, automation fault detection, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SCADA and remote control systems.
• Experience with data acquisition and communications systems (preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
• Ability to perform physical site work and hold a valid Senegal driver’s license.
• Advanced English is a plus.
