Outbound Team Lead

About the role

The Outbound Team Lead supervises warehouse floor activities, ensuring picking, packing, and dispatch operations meet performance targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily floor activities of pickers, packers, and sorters to meet hourly fulfillment SLAs and cut‑off deadlines.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings, allocate operational zones, and monitor productivity metrics.
• Perform quality spot‑checks on packed orders to verify correct items, packaging, and labeling.
• Resolve real‑time operational bottlenecks, stock location issues, and system exceptions in coordination with the Outbound Manager.
• Enforce 5S standards, safety compliance, and proper equipment handling across the outbound area.

Required profile

• High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in warehouse picking, packing, or dispatch environments.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and handle physical, fast‑paced tasks.

Required skills

• Practical experience using handheld RF scanners.
• Familiarity with barcoding systems.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications.
